A perceptible change thanks to rehabilitation works on urban roads, undertaken as part of the Inclusive and Resilient Cities Development Project (PDVIR). This work consists in particular of the construction of 6.3 km of primary roads. Whether it is the &#8220;Gare Banane&#8221; junction &#8211; Djalingo junction stretch with a length of about 500 meters or the road linking Djalingo junction to the National Road N0.1 intersection via the Petit March\u00e9 junction, the earthwork phase and the laying of the base layer have been completed. The gutters are also completed. The same is true for the Petit March\u00e9 Junction to Mairie CA2 Junction, through Modibo Junction, where the laying of the base layer has also been completed and the gutters built. The next step is to lay 13 cm paving stones on the appropriate sections. The Minister said she was satisfied with the work progress of 64% completion. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/minhdu.gov.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/04.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12215\"\/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Related developments consisting of footpaths and planned socio-collective works. It should be noted that all these works are carried out thanks to the efforts of the Cameroonian government and the World Bank. The Minister of Housing and Urban Development was also pleased that the completion of these works will help to connect substructured precarious neighborhoods with the rest of the city. This visit of the Minhdu was also an opportunity for her to sensitize residents on the direct and indirect benefits expected from the construction and rehabilitation of urban roads. Une mue perceptible gr\u00e2ce aux travaux de r\u00e9habilitation de la voirie urbaine, engag\u00e9s dans le cadre du Projet de D\u00e9veloppement des Villes Inclusives (PDVIR). Des travaux qui consistent notamment \u00e0 la construction d\u2019une voirie primaire de 6,3 km de lin\u00e9aire. Qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse du tron\u00e7on Carrefour \u00ab&nbsp;Gare Banane&nbsp;\u00bb au Carrefour Djalingo d\u2019un lin\u00e9aire d\u2019environ 500 m\u00e8tres ou de la voie reliant le Carrefour Djalingo \u00e0 l\u2019intersection Nationale N\u00b01 en passant par le Carrefour Petit March\u00e9, la phase du terrassement et la pose de la couche de base sont achev\u00e9es. Les caniveaux sont \u00e9galement r\u00e9alis\u00e9s. Il en est de m\u00eame du tron\u00e7on Carrefour Petit March\u00e9 \u2013 Carrefour Mairie CA2 en passant par le Carrefour Modibo o\u00f9 \u00e9galement la pose de la couche de base est achev\u00e9e et les caniveaux construits. La prochaine \u00e9tape pr\u00e9voit la pose des pav\u00e9s de 13 cm sur les sections appropri\u00e9es. Madame le ministre s\u2019est dite satisfaite de l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019avancement des travaux dont le taux de r\u00e9alisation \u00e9tait de 64%.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:image {\"align\":\"full\",\"id\":12593,\"sizeSlug\":\"full\",\"linkDestination\":\"none\"} -->\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignfull size-full\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.minhdu.gov.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Voirie-Garoua-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12593\"\/><\/figure>\n<!-- \/wp:image -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Des am\u00e9nagements connexes constitu\u00e9s de chemins pi\u00e9tons, des ouvrages socio-collectifs sont pr\u00e9vus. Il convient de signaler que tous ces travaux sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce aux efforts du gouvernement camerounais et de la Banque mondiale. Le ministre de l\u2019Habitat et du D\u00e9veloppement urbain s\u2019est \u00e9galement r\u00e9joui du fait que la r\u00e9alisation de ces travaux va permettre de relier les quartiers pr\u00e9caires sous-structur\u00e9s avec le reste de la ville. Cette visite du Minhdu a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019occasion pour cette derni\u00e8re de sensibiliser les riverains sur les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices directs et indirects escompt\u00e9s par la construction et la r\u00e9habilitation de la voirie urbaine.
